The Vacuum Cleaner Center was established in 1971 by brothers Tom and Bob Pierce of Saint Cloud. They provided a place where quality products are backed by excellent customer service.

In 1990 Perry Pierce, Tom's son, opened a second store in Elk River. Sewing Machines were then added to the product line. The name was changed to The Vacuum Center & Sewing Room. In 2000 the 2nd generation a ownership began with Perry purchasing the St. Cloud location.

The Vacuum Center & Sewing Room now repairs all brands of vacuums and sewing machines. We also repair floor scrubbers, shampooer's, commercial vacuums, embroidery machines and sergers.

We have searched the entire world for the best vacuum for every task and every price. Because of this search we proudly sell quality vacuums from Simplicity, Miele, Sebo, Royal, Lindhaus and Electrolux. We're an authorized dealer for Comfort Zone and Simplicity Infrared Zone Heaters. 

We also sell quality sewing machines, sergers, embroidery machines, and quilting machines from Babylock and Elna.
