About Us.... The Vacuum Cleaner Center was established in 1971 by brothers Tom and Bob Pierce of Saint Cloud. They provided a place where quality products are backed by excellent customer service. In 1990 Perry Pierce, Tom's son, opened a second store in Elk River. Sewing Machines were then added to the product line. The name was changed to The Vacuum Center & Sewing Room. The Vacuum Center & Sewing Room now repairs all brands of vacuums and sewing machines. We also repair floor scrubbers, shampooer's commercial vacuums, embroidery machines and sergers. We also sell almost all brands of vacuum cleaners and quality sewing machines from Elna and Babylock. We have searched the entire world for the best vacuum for every task and every price.
